Mr. He Dongfeng (R5) met with Mr. David Joyce (L4) on June 17th, 2019.

 

Mr. He Dongfeng, Chairman of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), met with international aerospace colleagues at the 53th Paris Air Show on June 17th, 2019, and developed in-depth exchanges with the international aerospace colleagues on the issues of common interest.

Mr. He Dongfeng respectively met with Mr. Jack Govers, President of European and Global Markets of Corus, Mr. Hans Buthker, CEO of GKN Aerospace, Mr. Eric Guyon, Chairman of Aries Group, Mr. Nie Changhai, Executive Vice President of Changzhou Qifu Antai Composite Material Technology Co., Ltd., Dr. Steffen Kress, CSO of Cotesa GmbH, Mr. Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International Ltd., Mr. Sylvain Laurent, Executive Vice President of Dassault Systems, Mr. Cheng Rence, Executive Director of Nanshan Group, Mr. Patrick Caine, CEO of Thales, Mr. Alan Crawford, President of Commercial Aircraft of L3 Technologies, Mr. Luo Ronghuai, President of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), Mr. Nimrod Sheffer, CEO of Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI), Mr. Marc Allen, Vice President of Boeing, Mr. David Joyce, President and CEO of GE Aviation, Mr. Zeng Li, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), Mr. Philipp Liebherr, Representative of Shareholders of Liebherr, Mr. Li Biao, Chairman of Haite Group, Mr. Dylan Thomas, Director of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Advanced Manufacturing of Department for International Trade, Mr. Tim Mahoney, CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, Mr. Nick Stanage, President, Chairman and CEO of Hexcel, Mr. Kelly Ortberg, CEO of Collins Aerospace, and Mr. Philippe Petitcolin, CEO of Safran.

Mr. He Dongfeng introduced the development and construction of COMAC together with the research and development progress of aircraft programs to the aerospace colleagues. He expressed that COMAC attached great importance to the exchange and cooperation with the international aviation community, and hoped to enhance communication with each company, make full use of respective advantages, and realize mutual benefit and win-win situations.

The aerospace colleagues expressed that China's trunk liner program developed very fast and had a broad prospect, and hoped to enhance communication, exchange experience and deepen cooperation in the future in order to make contributions to the development of world civil aircraft industry together.
